This past week Annabel, my mom and I flew down to Miami to visit our Cuban family for a few days and then popped over to Palm Beach. Β It was so fun to see Annabel play with her little cousins and get to experience the Latin side of things - especially since I lived in Miami at her age and was immersed in that world for my early childhood. Β While her porcelain skin and freckles were in stark contrast to her goldenΒ skinned cousins Camila & Adriana - they were thick as thieves swimming, playing and communicating in Spanish & English. Β It was also such a gift to have my grandmother, mom and daughter all in one place - 4 generations!
After some family time we headed to Palm Beach for some work and play. Β We stayed at the Breakers - which Annabel loved - and enjoyed dinners at my favorites, Buccan & Imoto. Β
ASHA popped up at Launchpad on Worth Avenue for the last two weeks of March andΒ weΒ had a beautifulΒ dinner at the Colony (newly decorated by Celerie Kemble) with an amazing group of women to celebrate the pop up along with La Ligne & Laura Garcia. Β It was great toΒ introduce the collection to both familiar and new faces and launch our latest Palm Beach Coordinates. Β I also toured a new development where we might even construct our very own Palm Beach ASHA store in 2020. Β Stay tuned! xx Ashley
