Named One of Veranda's Most Beautiful Shops in the World for 2024

We are overwhelmed with excitement at being named one of the most beautiful shops in the world. Read below for snippets from my conversation with Veranda about our Palm Beach jewel box.

Can you describe the overall aesthetic of the shop and what your vision was for the design?

The shop embodies a blend of tropical Palm Beach elegance and beachy jet-set style, infused with a touch of Northeast polish. My mom and I collaborated with Meg Braff to create a space that reflects my brand’s signature style—clean, fresh, and feminine—while capturing the essence of Palm Beach’s glamorous, resort-inspired lifestyle. From cabana-style draped dressing rooms and re-lacquered 60’s wicker chairs to the bar, pilaster palms, a cozy tête-à-tête, and Meg Braff’s signature wallpapers like cockeshells, the shop brings an island dream world to life.

Can you share a little bit about your designs that are sold in the shop?

ASHA by Ashley McCormick is a resort-inspired lifestyle brand that seamlessly merges fine and fashion jewelry with chic pareos, dresses, and artfully crafted accessories. Each piece draws inspiration from art, architecture, and wanderlust, radiating a fresh sophistication and timeless elegance. ASHA is worn by women everywhere, from St. Barths and Harbour Island to Nantucket, Paris and Malaysia, embodying a spirit of adventure and refined style.

What niche do you think the shop fills in the shopping scene in Palm Beach?

ASHA offers a curated selection of distinctive jewelry, accessories, and jet-set-inspired dresses and kaftans that blend fresh and classic design with timeless sophistication. The Palm Beach shop serves as an island oasis filled with colorful embroidered kaftans and exquisite jewelry, creating a haven for discerning shoppers seeking high-quality, artfully crafted & bespoke pieces that stand out in the luxury market.

What do you hope a client feels or knows about your brand as soon as they walk in the shop?

The new ASHA Palm Beach store is designed as an inviting tropical escape, where clients can immerse themselves in an oasis of style and charm. I hope they experience the joy of shopping in a chic, thoughtfully crafted setting that reflects the best of the brand.
