Golden State of Mind

Golden State of Mind

Earlier this month I jetted out to the West coast twice for a fun sisters weekend in LA and then a trip to San Francisco/Napa for business and pleasure.  My sister, Katy, and I had a fun forty-eight hours in Beverly Hills staying at the Beverly Wilshire....highlights included lunch at Cecconi's in West Hollywood and shopping in Melrose Place.

After a whirlwind weekend in the city of Angels, it was back East for two days to catch up at the ASHA Penthouse and pop up at the Vogue offices.  Never a dull moment!  I headed back out West to San Francisco and stayed at the St. Regis, which I found heavenly.  While in San Francisco I participated in the Edgewood Fair with other designers from near and far where we sold from our collections and raised money to benefit a wonderful local charity that helps families in need in the Bay Area.

Once Edgewood concluded, it was off to Napa with friends to celebrate the local Greenwich fleece brand - Dudley Stephens - and their amazing production milestone of repurposing one million plastic bottles.  We all stayed at the beautiful Carneros Resort & Inn and went wine tasting at Cakebread Cellars & the Gamble Family Vineyards.  It was such fun to spend time with friends and be surrounded by amazing women who are creating incredible businesses.  Here are some visual highlights from the trips. xx Ashley

Sisters lunch at Cecconi's in West Hollywood where we found the cutest flower truck.

Delicious avocado toast at Cecconi's. From LA, Miami, to London & Istanbul - I have always had great and also incredibly reasonably priced meals...love Cecconi's.

My new favorite place to shop in LA is Melrose Place.  Pictured above is the Aerin pop up.  Neighboring stores include: Zimmermann, The Row, Chloe, Golden Goose, Glossier & Linda Farrow.

Another favorite: the pool at the London in West Hollywood.

I've always loved San Francisco - it is such a beautiful & unique city.

I highly recommend staying at the St. Regis in San Francisco.  They gave me a palatial upgrade and the service could not have been better!

After the Edgewood Fair it was off to Napa with Lauren Stephens of Dudley Stephens and a fun group of friends. I'm wearing our Berry Chandeliers & Lauren is wearing our new Heart Hoops.

How lucky San Franciscans are to have Napa so close by! It took us 1.5 hours to reach the beautiful Carneros Resort.

A very fun afternoon of wine tasting at Cakebread Cellars & Gamble Family Vineyards (pictured here).

Toasting Dudley Stephens' 1 million plastic bottle milestone with blogger Anh of @9to5chic.

It was a weekend to remember!
