At long last, I'm sharing a collection of photos of our Connecticut home as featured in Connecticut Cottages & Gardens. (You can read an excerpt from the article here) It was such a joy bringing our dream home to life - it truly is a representation of my design aesthetic - classic & modern and a mélange of all my favorite things. From modern art & sleek spaces to Indian inspired wallpaper & Moroccan treasures, I tried to marry a fresh & clean design aesthetic with a hint of exotic inspired by my love of travel. My husband and I fell in love with the coastal, Nantucket feeling of our home and surprised our three children with the house finished and decorated with a Nantucket meets Malibu meets Connecticut vibe. It was also so fun collaborating with my mom and having her tremendous design eye in my back pocket.

With Mom in my backyard - her taste is more classic & traditional, whereas mine is a little more modern. It was such fun bouncing ideas off of each other and she is a whiz with paint colors.
